The Securepoint product overview
Securepoint offers a wide range of network access, network security and mail archiving solutions, which can be combined and implemented in a flexible way:
- Entire safety for company networks is offered by Securepoint UTM Firewalls. Why pay more for every feature? All necessary UTM components and features (Antivirus, Spam Filter, Web Filter...) are placed in the Securepoint Unified Threat Management Solution (UTM) so there is nothing which has to be additionally licensed. UTM security solutions will protect you and your network and has the requirement to provide all important IT safety appliances (Firewall, VPN Gateway, Antivirus, Spam Filter, Web Filter, IDS, Authentication, etc.).
- Securepoint VPN Gateways and certified KV-Safenet Gateways offer powerful and efficient VPN routers to you, which can be upgraded on an UTM very easily.
- With the Securepoint Operation Center you get an essential management tool for all of your VPN and UTM gateways. Support up to 65.535 VPN/UTM systems.
- The new Securepoint Unified Mail Archive (UMA) is for all small and medium-sized businesses with 1 to 5,000 mailboxes. The UMA will be available mid 2011. Some first informations about UMA are available on our german website!
- The Securepoint WiFi and Network Access Controller provides an easy and safe WiFi and LAN log on to get access to the internet, to data, voice and video applications. There is no need for configuration on the guest and employee's systems (notebooks, mobile phones, iPad, etc.) so this device is perfect for open areas like companies, schools, hotels, hospitals, governments, internet cafes, etc.
- The Securepoint Open VPN client is free of charge and available on all Securepoint VPN and UTM products. Of course all Securepoint VPN and UTM solutions are compatible with all established VPN servers and VPN clients from third party dealers such as NCP, Greenbow etc. and can be used with chargeable VPN Clients. Securepoint VPN and UTM products support the following protocols: L2TP/PPTP, IPsec via X.509-Certificate/IKE and Preshared Keys, SSL VPN (OpenVPN) and are Windows 7-Ready with IKEv1 and IKEv2 supporting. With Securepoint you can order all kind of different VPN Clients or use the Securepoint Open VPN client instead.

The Securepoint Unified Threat Management (UTM) security solutions are to provide all important security applications (firewall, VPN gateway, virus scanner, spam filter, web filter, IDS...) within a corresponding server environment, to ensure a smooth update of all systems and to make the everyday usage of these systems successful and secure for the companies. The Securepoint UTM security solutions are available as UTM hardware appliance, as virtual appliance and as a pure software solution, which can be installed on standard computer systems and may be adjusted according to individual requirements. Securepoint KV-SafeNet gateways
Online billing for german physicians will become mandatory from January 1, 2011 under the resolution adopted by the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV). To meet these requirements, Securepoint and KV-SafeNet provider Medical IT Services are offering Securepoint KV-SafeNet UTM gateway, which provides simple, secure access to the KV-SafeNet run by the Associations of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and the Internet. Physicians will in future have access to the online services of their Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and, for instance, be able to process their quarterly bills electronically or send/receive referral letters, DMP (disease management program) documentation or screening colonoscopies digitally. This new solution means data no longer need to be stored on a CD or diskettes, and sent through the mail. The new Securepoint Unified Mail Archive (UMA) will be available mid 2011. Some first informations about UMA are available on our german website! The email archiving software UMA is for all small and medium-sized businesses with 1 to 5,000 Mailboxes. Archive all company and organization email durably and centrally with Securepoint Unified Mail Archive. UMA can be used with Microsoft Exchange and other email server. Securepoint WiFi und Network Access Controller
The Securepoint Network Access Controller (NAC) provides access security and mobility management solutions on wireless and wired networks. These solutions, aimed towards small and large enterprises, hotels, educational establishments, hospitals or even administrations, allow remote mobile users and guests to connect to the network in a convenient and secure manner in order to utilise business communication applications. Securepoint Network Access Controller sits between a wired (Ethernet, DSLAM, CPL) or wireless (WiFi) access network and the organisation's LAN. All data streams from or to the user pass through the NAC in order to guarantee security and improve end user experience. Based upon the model, NAC is able to manage up to thousends concurrent users and is very simply to install in the network infrastructure.
